Ft. Worth, TX – January 25, 2017– The World Conformation Horse Association and American Paint Horse Association announced today that the WCHA Breeders Championship and Big Money Futurities will be held in conjunction with the 2017 APHA World Show, September 23-24.

“Holding the WCHA and Big Money Futurities in conjunction with the APHA World Show will be a win-win for both of our associations,” said WCHA President Luke Castle. “We look forward to working together to grow participation in both of these events.”

Stallion nominations for the 2017 Futurity are now being accepted through March 15. Interested stallion owners should contact Barbara Linke at the WCHA office at (682) 312-5356 for information and nomination forms.

To support the move to Fort Worth, the 2017 Breeders Futurity Committee has been appointed, headed by Committee Coordinator Michael Clites. Committee members include Chris Arentsen, John Boston, Beth Johnson Dunlap, Wayne Halvorson, Jerri Harmon, Bill Huckabee, Jarrell Jackson, Kimble Lewis, Dennis Mason, Anne Prince, and Kelley Stone.
